Lunch time for me? 6.08pm. I just found myself doing things, and then it was 3.30, then it was 4.09, then I had to go out and then it was 5.50 before I got home and so for me dinner and lunch was a Large KFC Variety Meal.

And also, I can't say I'm saddened to see that that frightful witch Andrea Dworkin is dead. Dworkin was an enemy of common sense. She posited that Consensual Sex was a form of rape, and her writing appeared to be devoid of syntax.

Admittedly the only thing of hers I ever read was Mercy which was unmitigated shit, and, to quote a well known 80's band, about as easy as a nuclear war.

Her death may be a sad event to those who know and support her, but the death of that way of thinking most definitely isn't a sad event for those of us who are reality-based. Her opinion on pornography was also deluded - are not men equally objectified in porn? In porn women have faces, bodies, names. In porn men are merely reduced to cocks and hands. In porn most men dont even have faces. And they get paid much less. In a social context there are those who have difficulties relating to others - the shy, or those who grew up in single-sex schools and thus were cut off from females for many years during their puberty - and they become rapists? Bullshit.

They are no more rapists than people who see violent movies and go out and kill people. If you can't tell that porn isn't real and if violent movies influence you to kill, don't blame the movies. It's NOT the movies that made you kill. It's you. And you're the problem. Whose responsible? You Fucking Are.

I don't think this is really the time to debate pornography really. It's not for everyone. But the fact remains : Dworkin pushed the cause of Feminism back half a century. She retarded feminism. Critics chose the most outlandish of her ideas, and instead of looking for the validity in the vast majority of her words, they always took the most outlandish rubbish she came out with, and kneejerk reacted against that by saying See? The Liberals are LOONIES!.

I'm not a feminist, but an equalist. All people, all colours, all genders, all orientations (bar right wing conservatives) are equal.

So fuck Dworkin. Political theory is that politics is a circle, and the most extreme leftwing and the most extreme right wing start to come back to themselves and overlkap and agree in their beliefs. Dworkin was as dangerous as any neo-con in some respects.
