Hello


It's been a hard week for us. Life has been plagued.

Earlier this week, E's friend J died. The circumstances are, at best, vague. What is clear is that J committed suicide and left behind her two children.

Yesterday, we heard that one of our beloved blogging community, Sam, died in an accident at home.

Aside from the fact that both myself and E have worked a lot this week, (and I have spent 3 days in London and a day in Edinburgh, as well as the associated and not inconsiderable travelling), and X has been particularly difficult, then we are at best, fighting a difficult battle surviving this week. I wanted to write something substanial and meaningful about our loss.

I know nobody said life was meant to be easy, but this week it has seemed so very much the opposite of those things. I am glad it is over, and sad that happened. Two of our friends will be sorely missed.
