Notcast Ep 181 : The Wedding Present went on hiatus in 1997, and David Gedge started a 'solo' album that became the band Cinerama (taking their name from an obsolete form of cinema projection), released three albums - "Va Va Voom", "Disco Volante" and "Torino" - three compilations, two live albums, 13 singles and recorded a lot of Peel Sessions, including some songs that eventually formed part of their evolution back to The Wedding Present in 2005. They were great and if you love The Wedding Present, you should like them! 15 February 2022.
