Notcast Ep 187 : 1977 saw a very, very busy year for David Bowie - 2 studio albums - "Low" (and "Heroes"), 2 extra studio albums with Iggy Pop in "The Idiot" and "Lust For Life", and a short tour in Iggy Pop's band that resulted in the live LP "T.V.Eye". I talk about one of my favourite Bowie LP's, its recording and production, some songwriting tricks used during recording, the economic and under-rated lyrics, and the 1990 Rykodisc/1999 EMI/2017 Box Set remasters, as well as picture disc singles and curiously bad remixes. 06 March 2022.
