Notcast Episode 192 (!) : It's 14th April 2022, and that means Depeche Mode's "Ultra" turns 25 today. It really doesn't seem like a quarter of a century ago! I talk through the bands turbulent 1996, a single for a Hits album, that turned into a full album, that turned into an album-compilation-tour, the 1997 singles "Barrel Of A Gun", "It's No Good", "Home", and "Useless", drumming, layering and song arrangements, CD Bloat, the importance of backing vocals and sequencing, the "86-98" compilation, The Singles Tour, and the Live In Cologne broadcast. 14 April 2022.
