mememe stolen from Yoko!

So, here's how it works:
1. Open your library (iTunes, Winamp, Media Player, iPod, etc.)
2. Put it on shuffle
3. Press play
4. For every question, type the song that's playing
5. When you go to a new question, press the next button
6. Don't lie and try to pretend you're cool!

Opening Credits: I Would Be Your Slave - David Bowie
Waking Up: Debra - Beck
First Day At School: The Clairvoyant - Iron Maiden
Falling In Love: Spinning Around - Kylie Minogue
Fight Song: Around The Sun - REM
Prom: Access Babylon - Probot
Life: Some Days Are Better Than Others - U2
Mental Breakdown: Love Should - Moby
Driving: A New Machine - Pink Floyd
Flashback: Young Americans - The Cure
Getting Back Together: Down There By The Train - Johnny Cash
Wedding: Lift Me Up - Moby
Birth of Child: Ammunition - Morrissey
Final Battle: Possession - The Sisters Of Mercy
Death Scene: The Drawback - Joy Division
Funeral Song: Enjoy The Silence - Depeche Mode
Remembrance Song: Childhood's End - Pink Floyd
End Credits: Letitgo - Prince

OK then - come on you muddy funsters!

Opening Credits: Dedication - Thin Lizzy (mmm - would make better end credits perhaps, but otherwise not a bad start. I think it makes me a 1980s film though, possibly starring Emilio Estevez)

Waking Up: After Hours - Velvet Underground (an evening song, surely? cool record though)

First Day At School: Last Year Man - Leonard Cohen (ooooh. I like. It would have to be high school though right? Infant school would be weird)

Falling In Love: New Age - Velvet Underground (ok, I'll take that.. although possibly it's not a very conventional love song)

Fight Song: L'excessive - Carla Bruni (this works! It would have to be a slow motion fight shot in black and white though)

Prom: Would - Alice In Chains (great song, but a very depressing prom)

Life: Ribbons & Leaves - Graham Coxon (yup, again, nicely downbeat. Sounds about right)

Mental Breakdown: Finest Worksong - REM (in a very white room, all alone... or maybe just in a cubicle in an office, gently banging my head on the desk)

Driving: Heart and Soul - New Order (I'll buy that)

Flashback: Krafty - New Order (I'm getting a lot of repetition here for 9000 songs)

Getting Back Together: Charles Bukowski is Dead - Boo Radleys (like I said, it's an unconventional romance)

Wedding: Terminator X to the edge of panic - Public Enemy (this is a cool mix with "Flash" by Queen, but it won't be making my wedding playlist!)

Birth of Child: Amsterdam - Anne Watts (it's a cover of the Jacques Brel song - that's gonna be one messed up kid)

Final Battle: Twenty-Four Hours - Joy Division (yup)

Death Scene: Today Your Love, Tomorrow the World - The Ramones (man, what a way to go out!)

Funeral Song: The Mercy Seat - Johnny Cash (nice!)

Remembrance Song: Bad Version of War - Pavement (???)

End Credits: Happy Christmas, War is Over -- Boy George and Antony Hegarty (slightly odd choice, but if the season is right, this is a showstopper)

Some of those are oddly apt - as were yours (Probot at the prom? Bring it on!)

"Falling In Love: Spinning Around - Kylie Minogue"
Superb song/event match

ST, your end credits tune is... Inspired!
Oh, go on then.

Opening Credits: Ouija Board, Ouija Board - Morrissey
Waking Up: X Offender - Blondie
First Day At School: The Denial Twist - The White Stripes
Falling In Love: Paris 2004 - Peter Bjorn and John
Fight Song: You're in a Bad Way - Saint Etienne
Prom: In the Company of Women - The Long Blondes (what, no boys?)
Life: Train Under Water - Bright Eyes (Quite lovely.)
Mental Breakdown: Na Na Na Na Naa - Kaiser Chiefs
Driving: Willie - Cat Power
Flashback: Young Americans - Your Mangled Heart - Gossip
Getting Back Together: Don't Need a Drum - Teenage Fanclub
Wedding: Say Hello to Angels - Interpol
Final Battle: Over and Over - Hot Chip (!)
Death Scene: Free at Last - Antony and the Johnsons (very apt)
Funeral Song: One Day - Bjork
Remembrance Song: Fine Time - New Order
End Credits: Where Angels Play - The Stone Roses
Like it, there are some interesting choices in there. Not sure about Hot Chip as the final battle but NaNaNaNaNa is a great breakdown song
