A transcript of last night's Presidential debate.

I haven't seen it yet, but here's a couple of quotes...

"This nation of ours has got a solemn duty to defeat this ideology of hate. We're facing a group of folks who have such hatred in their heart, they'll strike anywhere, with any means. Of course we're after Saddam Hussein -- I mean bin Laden. But the best way to protect this homeland is to stay on the offense." - George Bush.

You said it Georgie Porgie. The ideology of hatred is not necessarily that of the so-called 'terrorists'. If America was invaded by say, a massive country that was religiously opposed to the US, every American would become a terrorist. The big problem is that George's analysis of their motives is simplistic to the point of moronic. It's not that they hate 'freedoms'... they hate a hypocritical, violent nation (one that Bush states is "always on the offensive") that invades democratic nations who have voted for socialism (more proof than there is space on the internet), they hate a nation that ignores the wishes of everyone else in the world as it executes a violently selfish foriegn policy, and yes, they hate a nation that lies with impunity, and one that ignores the UN when it doesn't get it's own way, policing the world with a ideololgical selective amnesia.

George says that the "Mission is not yet done", yet 18 months ago he stood on an aircraft carrrier deck saying "Mission Accomplished". He also says that a Free Iraq will help a secure Israel. Israel isn't the place that I'm worried about. It's Palestine.

But hey, that's enough politics, eh? The longer george is in poweer, the more detached from reality he becomes, and the more he changes the facts to suit his beliefs.

And that's not the type of person who should be in power. But think of this, for all the comments made by the President about disarming the nations with Weapons Of Mass Destruction, which nation has the most Weapons of Mass Destruction?
