OK. I'm having a day off today, after Sunday-Monday's marathon 22 hour stinyt. It's not all loaf, loaf, loaf, mind you, I still have to write a bunch of rejection letters to unsuccessful tenderers. Nonetheless, sendit.com (formerly blackstar.co.uk) posted to me somewhat early the mega superduper 4DVD Extended Edition of Return Of The King, so I am trawling through the extra documentaries on discs 3 and 4. No doubt that Guy With The Really Annoying Accent (from the WETA Workshop) will turn up and I will desperately wish that they have overdubbed his voice by Darth Maul* - just like they did in The Phantom Menace, and the voice actor who voiced Darth Maul also appears in the geek TV heaven that is Spaced, a show where a character loses his job in a comic book store because of his opinion that "The Phantom Menace is shit".
Ever since we got back, and I loaded up iTunes software, most of my time has been on the computer, and most of that time has been spent copying CD's into my computer so I can then upload my record collection to the iPod. I have 4,000 records, and somewhere in the region of 1,500 albums and 2,500 singles.
Here's a picture of me and the CD's.

Here you can see two six foot tall shelves. I have five in total. At the moment I am working alphabetically through my collection, albeit backwards, simply because I like mor ebands that have letters At The End Of The Alphabet than at the Front Of The Alphabet. I have managed to import, A, M, S-Z, and Nirvana, but there's still Sex Pistols, REM, Radiohead, Pop WIll Eat Itself, Pulp, and so on, and so forth, to load up. It's taking an age.
I have too many records. Or, more correctly, I have too much good taste.
OK. More later.
