Inheritance Tax proposed to be abolished.. what do you think about Inheritance Tax?

There should be some form of inheritance tax. After all, the uber-rich who don't need to work don't pay income tax at all... In some walks of life, inheritance is your life's salary in one go; why shouldn't they pay a slice like everyone else?

Should it hit your average joe who has spent their whole life slaving away in order to buy a house and raise a family..? Probably not. Everything they have has been taxed at least once, often more.

Raise the bar. The people with *that* much money can no doubt find cunning ways to work around a lot of it, but...
