Monsters


I was fairly busy last night. I ended up templating the book. Ironing out the kinks. Working out a list of scenes and events. Creating a plot arc and worked out some ideas. But does it satisfy? Does the plot work? These are big and important questions : does the plot keep me, and by extension, the reader engaged? What are the threats to the narrator? Whats his motive? What's the story I am trying to tell?

The problem with this is that, as with any work, there are normally two opposing forces battling between stasis and change. By the nature of this story, one of the parties is hidden. Makes it difficult to fight an invisible demon.
