I Suck At Girls, Justin Halpern

Here, the author follows his great and refreshing debut with a limp second attempt : frankly, his father is the best character in the book by a country mile, and whilst Halpern narrates dryly his mediocre stag do and the subsequent carnage which is expected, the book only really comes alive when his father fearlessly says what almost everyone else is too scared to think. A step down and a disappointmen from the first.
