All my blogs at the moment seem to be reviews, or commentary, or photographs. There is so much happening in my world right now. So much more than anything I have time or comprehension to really discuss. It is an exciting time. Things are happening at an immense rate, outside of this. And I am doing my best work, my most engaged and intelligent stuff. And in this, in some ways, who I am is being moved to one side, but also, who I am is being defined, redefined, changed by who I am and what i do. And I am moving into being someone else, into a new phase of my life. It is strange, and wonderful, and weird.

It has been a week of firsts. I was given a tour of the bridge of a £157m ship by the Captain. I worked abroad for the first time in my life. And, after seven hiring decisions to appoint staff who work for me, I also made my first decision the other way this week. A huge week, for other, more personal reasons. All is good. How are you?
