Notcast Episode 71 : Today I talk about Pet Shop Boys, who formed 40 years ago in 1981 (It really doesn't feel that long ago!), and their early years 1981-1986, including both versions of "West End Girls" and "Opportunities", "Love Comes Quickly", "Suburbia", "One More Chance", "Paninaro", the debut album "Please", remix album "Disco", growing up in Birmingham in the 80's, and how the band had years to refine and finalise their creative vision and identity before they became successful. 21 March 2021.
