MARK'S NOTCAST Ep 121 : "Bizarro" by The Wedding Present and 1988-1989. 18 July 2021.

Notcast Episode 121, and I'm talking about one of my favourite albums and bands, and The Wedding Present's influential (and fantastic) 1989 album "Bizarro", via the singles "Kennedy" and "Brassneck", the B-sides, live tapes, the "*PUNK" live VHS, the "1989-1991" B-sides/live compilation, demo versions, radio sessions, the bands influence on Post Rock and Showgaze/MBV, as well as the influence of The Velvet Underground, and the huge tapestry of interweaving events in the songs lyrics. I love this LP! 18 July 2021.
