Notcast Episode 191 : On 27th August 1994, Manic Street Preachers released "The Holy Bible", which isn't so much a record as a sonic deconstruction of everything wrong with humanity, and it is an incredible record - with some of the most powerful lyrics I've ever heard. This is a life changing record for me, and a friend in hard times. I talk through the singles - "Faster"/P.C.P.", "Revol" and "She Is Suffering", each song on the album, and the various reissues. This is a heavy episode featuring discussion of depression, anxiety, mental illness, anorexia, and murder. 10 April 2022.
