MARK'S NOTCAST Ep 234 : David Bowie, Tin Machine and "Sound+Vision" 1988-1990. 18 September 2022

Notcast Ep 234 : 1989 saw David Bowie burning down his solo career, and forming a band - Tin Machine - and their debut album, touring small venues, ignoring the old songs, and starting again. This album (and era) is the sound of Bowie predicting the future and being ahead of the rest with what could be, arguably, the first grunge album. There's singles "Under The God" and "Tin Machine", one of Bowie's finest ever songs, a live EP, a box set, reissues, a hits album and a Greatest Hits Tour, as well as a interruption by a lovely cat. 18 September 2022.
