Notcast 242 : Liz Truss resigned as Prime Minister today, making political history as the shortest serving Prime Minister in British History, as the U.K. faces its third Prime Minister, its third Home Secretary, and its fourth Chancellor Of The Exchequer in four months. This is bananas. The Government have no mandate from the public anymore, and I call for a General Election. It's simply not right for the vanishingly small Conservative Party to choose our fourth Prime Minister in a row who wasn't chosen in a General Election. 20 October 2022.
