Kraftwerk's fifth (or second, if you're Kraftwerk) studio album "Radioactivity" came out in Germany in October 1975. So happy 48th birthday to it! It came out in January 1976 in the UK, and didn't chart at all here. This elegant, song length poem/hymn to the power of power, energy, radio, information, and technology, forms part of Kraftwerk's "complete work of art" ethos, showing the durability of the ideas, melodic strengths, and the power of strong songwriting to create a satisfying, linear narrative.
