1984, and Pink Floyd don't exist. Well. David Gilmour, Roger Waters and Rick Wright all release solo albums within a few weeks of each other - to variable results. David and Roger tour to relatively small audiences, the charts remain resolutely untroubled, Roger turns down Pink Floyd at Live Aid, Nick Mason releases a solo LP with Rick Fenn of 10cc, and then Roger leaves the band. "Money... it's a gas!" 18 September 2024.
